Rachel Rodi worked with over 300 students to create 16 large wildflower mosaics for the courtyard of Edna Brewer Middle School. Students studied and drew flowers native to California that Rachel integrated into the final designs. Then students participated in setting the glass mosaic panels over 4 class days. The project was part of a collaborative effort that integrated lessons in science, art, ecology, sustainability, hands-on skill development, landscaping, and campus beautification.
